Ferrari 250 TR - August 2012, Gelsmoor Inn.

Although this month's visit (August) to the Gelsmoor Inn Classic meeting is my 4th out of 4, it's only the second time with the Ferrari 250 TR. The reason was quite simply the weather. This time it seemed very unlikely it would rain and it didn't, which is why the turnout was large and the people enthusiastic.

Amongst some of the more interesting cars present were Austin 7, Bugatti T35B, Daimler SP50, DeTomaso Pantera, Ford Popular, Renault 190?, Rolls Royce Phantom 1, Triumph 2000 Roadster, TR6 & GT6.

I thought for a change a photograph of something different would better set the mood, a Bugatti 35B but it does have the TR in the background.

What would I give to get behind the wheel on a track of this stunning car?

There were about 45 classic cars in total, but sadly only a hand full of motorcycles. The next meeting will be 11th September from an earlier time of 5pm until late. Plenty of time to socialise and sample the great food and drink. You don't have to have a classic to attend and be part of the fun, so come and say "Hello".
